The EMS Blue Premier Range is built with modern living in mind. Most homes used to have gravity fed systems and were not on a water meter. Nowadays there are many systems available such as pressurised systems and many homes have water meters meaning that a modern softener needs to cope with high demands of water use and regenerate using the least amount of water. At EMWC we consider water saving as one of our priorities and to this end we have introduced the EMS Blue Premier range of water softeners that are so reliable, we can offer a 10 year full parts & labour warranty.

Using the latest technology in capacity and performance, our EMS Blue Range of softeners boast unrivalled performance, enhanced flow resin and water saving technology to reduce water usage during regeneration.

When compared to non electric twin tank type water softeners, this softener will clean less frequently and will use considerably less water and salt, saving not only wear and tear on the softener but helping to reduce environmental impact AND save you money.

Easy to use controls with a clear display, shows not only the time but also remaining capacity. The display panel can be sited up to two meters away if you purchase our remote panel. The EMS blue range of softeners are built to last, so every aspect of the softener is of the highest quality.

BRINE TANK The cabinet is made from a durable high impact polyethylene that literally springs back on impact. Unlike brittle cabinets that can easily crack, the material does not become brittle over prolonged contact with the brine solution, ensuring long leak free service.

RESIN The resin is the heart of your softener; our Premier Blue range softeners use a Ultra SX Food grade resin mix, developed over a number of years using data collated from our domestic water softeners. For many years the standard of water softener resin was the same for domestic use as for commercial use. When looking at resin closely (there are an assortment of different sizes of resin) these various sizes were all tested and we found that the optimum ultra small resin bead was the best for water softening. These ultra beads were then created from the highest specification of resin available to create a resin that is highly chlorine tolerant and due to precision manufacturing, have a massive softening surface area. As the resin is so small it can be compacted and so a smaller softener can do the work of a traditionally much larger softener. This Ultra SX Food grade resin means that not only will you get longer life from the softener but also a better quality of soft water, allowing for faster flow rates and long periods between regenerations. Standard resin becomes more difficult to produce 100% soft water the closer the resin gets to capacity. In order to keep a constant supply of soft water, some machines perform mini regenerations, the ultra grade resin in our blue range water softeners can continue to supply soft water for longer periods so does not require mini regenerations. Due to its efficiency this resin is currently awaiting carbon neutral classification.

COMBINATION BOILERS AND PRESSURISED SYSTEMS With more heating systems using either a combination boiler or a pressurised system, the need for a water softener with the available flow rate is of paramount importance. Fitted with a 22mm installation Kit the Blue Range can produce an unrivalled 86ltr per minute flow rate making it ideal for the most demanding systems.

METER MODELS INCLUDING SELF PROTECT PROGRAMME Our Meter Range work by measuring the amount of water used and regenerating accordingly, it even takes into account the amount of water used on certain days of the week, this ensures supply always meets demand. If you have guests or your requirements increase, the softener will regenerate more frequently, alternatively, less often if you go away. As our meter models regenerate only when necessary, they are ideal for applications with varying demand. The amount of salt and water can be reduced by as much as 50% compared to timer models. The head of the EMS range is served by the highly efficient Autotrol valve, the metering system is essentially the same unit that is used in commercial machines, however using the data that we collected over many years from domestic softeners we were able to create a specific program for the EMS range of softeners meaning that the softener detects very small amounts of water passing through the meter, the unit can also build up a pattern of water usage using the Intelligent metering program. This increased sensitivity means that the EMS range can save on water and salt without compromising on performance, giving you more softened water and less waste.

PEACE OF MIND The Softener has the capability to store lots of information. The machine can tell you how much water you use on a given day, when it last performed a regeneration and how much water you have used since the machine was installed, to name just a few. This information can be used to fine-tune your softener's performance should you need to. The control unit has also been designed to simply clip off, so although the setting up of the unit is very simple, you could send it back to us to programme if you move home or relocate your machine.
