Automatic Covers - Automatic Swimming Pool Covers, In-The-Wall

There is a choice of 3 different types of drives:
Every motor has a built-in encoder. This electronic device sends pulses to the control panel in order to calculate the cover’s position. The end-positions are programmed on the control panel.

External electrical motor:

The reliable motor-reducer on safety-voltage of 24V DC was
designed especially for this application. A wall-passage is placed in the pool-wall. The shaft goes through this piece and is sealed by 2 high-quality (viton) seals. The external drive (electric or hydraulic) slides onto this shaft.

External hydraulic motor:

The motor-reducer is powered by hydraulic oil. The oil-pressure is delivered by a powerpack placed at a safe distance from the pool. The hydraulic drive itself is temporarily submersible. Building a dry motorpit is much less critical!

SCUBA-DRIVE: the underwatermotor:

This motor is developed for mounting under water, into the shaft. The installation of the cover and the construction of the pool are much simpler. There is no need for a motorpit, nor for the wall-passage. The risk for water-damage of the motor (as with an electrical external motor) disappears.

FURTHER INFORMATION.

An automatic cover, even with standard measurements, always needs to be custom built to your pool. Good communication between product provider and the installer is essential for a successful project.

User-friendly.

With an in-ground or above-ground automatic cover, the reel in and reel out are noiseless and effortless by turning a key: its is an additional contribution to the safety of your pool. The slats are also a protection against pollution and help to maintain the water temperature especially during the night.

A contribution to safety: when closed, the slats cover the entire pool, which is important for the safety of children and pets.

Using an automatic cover allows you savings on several points:

Water Saving.

An automatic cover stops water evaporation which represents a considerable saving considering the current loss of water for outdoor as well as indoor pools.

Chemical Savings.

With less sunlight, the automatic cover helps fight against undesirable algae growth, thus using less chemicals.

Energy Savings.

By preserving the water temperature, an automatic cover minimises the loss of heat, especially at night. The pleasure of swimming in a pool is increased during the season. It is also a main factor of energy savings for pools equipped with heating systems.
